Database disclosure via unprepared orderby query
Published Nov 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins Poll Maker 5.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The results-list table incorporates the orderby request parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation, allowing appended time-delay expressions and queries. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and successful exploitation discloses database contents without changing or interrupting the site.
