Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped marker content
Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in BdThemes Element Pack 5.10.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via marker_content. The Open Map Widget accepts marker_content and renders it into page output without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
