Subscriber-level stored XSS via unsanitized data parameters
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Vollstart Event Tickets with Ticket Scanner before 2.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. Ticket-management functionality accepts data parameters without authorization or sufficient sanitization, then renders them without output escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and execution requires another user to open an injected page, enabling attacker-controlled actions in that user's browser.
