Subscriber-level site modification via unchecked demo imports
Published Oct 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Qode Interactive Bridge Core 3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter or delete site data. The import_action and install_plugin_per_demo handlers perform demo imports, settings changes, deletion, and limited plugin installation without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and successful requests can modify plugin settings, import demo content, or install only plugins exposed by the demo workflow.
