Improper login throttling in Baxter Life2000 Ventilation System 06.08.00.00 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to gain device access. The clinician-password handler accepts unlimited failed attempts for both the Clinician Password and Serial Number Clinician Password, enabling brute-force guessing. Physical access to an unattended device is required; successful login exposes device settings and data, and setting changes can interrupt ventilation.
