CVE-2024-9816Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unvalidated image upload

Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Codezips Tourist Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code. The /admin/change-image.php handler uses the packageimage name and content from $_FILES to choose and write the destination without validating the filename or file type. Administrator access is required, and code execution depends on the uploaded PHP file remaining web-reachable and executable by the server.
