Administrator-browser script execution via unsanitized registration fields
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Profile Registration 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. add.php stores email_address, address, company_name, job_title, and jobDescription values without sanitizing them before the admin dashboard renders them as page content. Exploitation requires a crafted registration submission and an administrator to load the dashboard, enabling script execution in the application's origin.
