Authenticated code execution via unvalidated image upload
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Codezips Online Shopping Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via a crafted image upload. The update-image1.php handler uses productimage1 from $_FILES to select a storage location and writes the content without validating or cleaning the filename or file type. Low-privileged access to the product-image update form is required; a PHP payload stored under the web root executes with the web server's privileges.
