CVE-2024-9785Network attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized curTime parameter

Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L B1 2.06 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted curTime value. The /goform/formSetDDNS handler fails to bound the attacker-controlled curTime value before storing it in a fixed-size buffer. Access to the router's authenticated web-management interface is required; the resulting corruption can crash the management service or alter its execution.
