Admin database inference via unescaped product fields
Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
SQL injection in WP-Recall before 16.26.12 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data through a crafted commerce export request. The Commerce export handler places the first product[fields] value into an SQL statement without sanitization or escaping, enabling injected timing clauses. Administrator access and an activated Commerce add-on are required; the published demonstration yields a time-based oracle rather than data modification.
