Information disclosure via unchecked PDF buffer read
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Power PDF 5.0.0.10.0.23307 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted PDF file. The PDF parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading it, causing a read beyond the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the documented standalone impact is memory disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
