Unauthenticated quiz submission modification via unchecked entry_id
Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
IDOR in Forminator Forms 1.36.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify other users' quiz submissions via a crafted entry_id. The submit_quizzes() function trusts the user-controlled entry_id key without confirming that it belongs to the quiz submission being processed. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation alters an existing quiz submission without affecting confidentiality or availability.
