Administrator file upload via missing type validation
Published Dec 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Crafthemes Demo Import 3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Administrator access to upload files. The process_uploaded_files function accepts and stores uploaded content without validating the file type, permitting server-executable files. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and execution depends on the server processing the uploaded file as code.
