Administrator-level code execution via locale path traversal
Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local JavaScript file inclusion in Ninja Team File Manager Pro – Filester 1.8.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The file-manager request uses the untrusted fm_locale value to select a local JavaScript asset without confining the resulting path to approved locale files. Administrator privileges are required; uploaded images or other normally safe file types can become executable content, exposing site data and control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
