Engagement deletion via forged administrator request

Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in TechnoWich WP ULike 4.7.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete engagement records. The wp_ulike_delete_history_api() handler performs the engagement-deletion operation without correctly validating a WordPress nonce supplied with the request. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator's browser to submit the forged request, and the documented consequence is deletion of engagement data.
