Unauthenticated dangerous file upload via weak validation
Published Aug 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in WP ULike Pro 1.9.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to place dangerous files on WordPress servers. The WP_Ulike_Pro_File_Uploader class inadequately validates file types and accepts alternate script, HTML, and SVG extensions instead of restricting uploads to safe types. No account is required; further impact depends on server handling of an accepted extension or user interaction with attacker-controlled HTML or SVG content.
