Stored XSS via unescaped block link attribute
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
Stored XSS in PickPlugins Post Grid before 2.2.93 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted block option. The post-title block accepts an injected linkAttr id, writes it into an HTML attribute without validation or escaping, and preserves the payload in an embedded page or post. Contributor access is sufficient to store the payload; execution requires another user to view or preview the affected title and trigger the injected mouseover handler.
