Authenticated search access via missing visibility check
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Authorization bypass in Onyx 0.3.94 allows remote authenticated users to access hidden search functions through direct API calls. The back-end search API accepts requests from regular users without checking the administrator-controlled visibility state for the search page. A valid low-privilege account and a workspace with the search page hidden are required; successful access exposes search functionality that the administrator intended to withhold.
