API-key disclosure via partial query-string masking
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
API-key disclosure in Berri AI LiteLLM before 1.44.12 allows remote attackers to expose Gemini credentials through application logs. In litellm_logging.py, pre_call masks only the first five characters after key= in the logged api_base value, leaving the remainder visible. A Gemini request must reach this logging path, and subsequent credential disclosure requires access to the emitted log data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
