Stored script injection via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Easy PayPal Gift Certificate 1.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored JavaScript. The wpppgc_plugin_options handler accepts settings-changing requests without valid nonce verification and stores attacker-controlled script content. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit the forged request, after which the script executes in pages that render the modified settings.
