Session theft via unvalidated groupe_id input
Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SOPlanning before 1.45 allows remote attackers to steal an authenticated user's session via a crafted request. The groupe_save.php endpoint fails to validate the groupe_id parameter when processing the request, allowing injected script to execute in the recipient's browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to receive and act on the crafted query, and the reported consequence is disclosure of that user's session details.
