CVE-2024-9570Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated router crash via unchecked curTime length

Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L B1 2.06 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via curTime. The formEasySetTimezone handler accepts an overlong curTime POST value without checking its length, overflowing a stack buffer used by the Boa web service. Low-privileged access to the router's web interface is sufficient, and the crafted request interrupts router service without user interaction.
