Authenticated memory corruption via oversized curTime input
Published Oct 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L 2.13B01 BETA allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via crafted curTime input. The formSetWizard1 and formSetWizard2 handlers process an oversized curTime request parameter without enforcing the destination buffer's size. Low-privilege access to the router's network management interface is required; successful exploitation can disclose or alter data or interrupt the device.
