Authenticated memory corruption via curTime overflow
Published Oct 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L 2.13B01 BETA allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted WAN-wizard request. The formSetWAN_Wizard51 and formSetWAN_Wizard52 handlers process the attacker-controlled curTime value without enforcing the destination buffer's capacity. Low-privileged router access is required, and public evidence does not establish a code-execution outcome.
