Database manipulation via delCatelogs id injection
Published Oct 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
SQL injection in ESAFENET CDG V5 allows remote authenticated users to alter database data through the delCatelogs id parameter. The delCatelogs handler passes the untrusted id argument into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful injection can read or alter CDG database records and interrupt database-backed operations.
