CVE-2024-9553Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized curTime parameter

Published Oct 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024

A buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L 2.13B01 BETA allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted curTime value. The formdumpeasysetup handler at /goform/formdumpeasysetup copies the unbounded curTime parameter into an undersized destination buffer. Administrator access to the web interface is required; exploitation can crash the service or corrupt control flow, while code execution is not documented.
