Authenticated SQL injection via fileId parameter
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
SQL injection in ESAFENET CDG V5 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through a crafted fileId parameter. The MultiServerBackService handler at path=1 passes the attacker-controlled fileId value into an SQL statement without proper neutralization. Low-privileged CDG access is required; the published assessment limits direct impact to the vulnerable system.
