Stored XSS via raw HTML markdown parsing
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Stored XSS in Kubeflow Pipeline View allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The Description and MarkdownViewer components pass pipeline-description text to markdown-to-jsx without disabling raw HTML parsing. An authenticated user must save a crafted description and another user must view it, exposing that viewer's data and actions in the UI session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
