DLL hijacking in Silicon Laboratories ToolStick 2.60.1 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code through its Windows installer. The installer uses an uncontrolled DLL search path, allowing a DLL placed in a searched location to load instead of the intended library. Exploitation requires a user to run the impacted installer, and the injected code executes with the installer's privileges, enabling privilege escalation.
