Administrator-level stored script execution via poll settings
Published Oct 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in AYS Pro Plugins Poll Maker 5.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through poll settings. The poll-settings rendering path accepts insufficiently sanitized values and emits them without context-appropriate output escaping. Administrator privileges are required, and the path is exposed only on multisite installations or when unfiltered_html is disabled; injected script runs when a user opens the affected page.
