Administrator command execution via unsanitized cron interval
Published Nov 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Command injection in BoldGrid Total Upkeep 1.16.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute server commands. The backup-settings handler accepts cron_interval without validation or sanitization and incorporates it into system cron configuration. An enabled PHP execution function and administrator access are required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the WordPress server's privileges.
