Stored script execution via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Oct 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in miyabe PriPre 0.4.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through uploaded SVG files. The upload path accepts SVG content without sufficient input sanitization, and the serving path returns that content without output escaping. Author-level access or higher is required; the script runs in the browser of anyone accessing the SVG and acts within that viewer's WordPress context.
