Stored script execution via unescaped shortcode tag
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in ToolStack Auto iFrame 1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the tag shortcode parameter. The shortcode renderer inserts tag into an HTML or JavaScript attribute without escaping it, so crafted attribute text becomes executable script in a saved page. Author-level access is required to save the payload; the script runs in the browser of each user who opens the affected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
