OS command injection in Linear eMerge e3-Series through 1.00-07 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands over HTTP. The forgot_password() function passes the login_id parameter unchecked into exec(), where shell metacharacters trigger command execution. No login is required, and injected commands run as lighttpd with the root group, enabling device compromise.
