Stored cross-site scripting via forged settings request
Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WPGlobus Translate Options 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The on__translate_options_page() function accepts a settings-changing request without valid nonce verification, allowing attacker-supplied script content to be stored. Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on an attacker-controlled link, after which the stored script executes in an affected administrative context.
