Stored cross-site scripting via upload allowlist bypass
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Hash Form 1.1.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to store disallowed files through public forms. The handleUpload function accepts extensions absent from both its allowedExtensions and unallowed_extensions arrays instead of rejecting unknown types. No account is required, but cross-site scripting requires a user to open the stored file.
