Internal service access via unchecked restUrl
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 16, 2025
SSRF in Eclipse GlassFish 6.2.5 allows remote attackers to access internal services through the /download/log endpoint. The endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled restUrl parameter and makes a server-side request to that destination without restricting it to an approved origin. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests can expose sensitive internal service information and support internal port scanning.
