Improper input validation in Moxa moxa_cmd on affected switches and VPort 07-3 1.0 allows remote attackers to crash or reboot devices. The service accepts network input without sufficient type validation and processes malformed requests through a path that triggers a cold start or service failure. The service must be reachable over the network; resulting impact is limited to device or service interruption.
