Stored XSS via unescaped row sub-heading
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Metagauss RegistrationMagic before 6.0.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a form setting. The Row Properties editor stores the Sub-heading value without sanitizing or escaping it before inserting it into settings-icon markup. Administrator access is required, and the payload executes in a user's browser when the affected settings icon is hovered, including when unfiltered_html is disabled.
