Admin-level code execution via TW_ID command injection

Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

OS command injection in Ivanti Cloud Services Appliance before 5.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through its admin console. The gsb/reports.php endpoint passes the TW_ID request value to the underlying operating system without neutralizing command syntax. Application administrator privileges are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands on the appliance and supports web-shell installation.
