Subscriber-level log deletion via missing capability check
Published Oct 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in SendGrid for WordPress 1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete the plugin's mail logs. The wp_mailplus_clear_logs handler invokes log removal without verifying that the requesting account has an administrative capability. A valid Subscriber-level WordPress account can therefore erase mail-log evidence, but the flaw does not grant access to other data.
