Stored XSS via predictable-path file upload
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in LLaVA 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to store JavaScript that executes in a victim's browser. The upload endpoint accepts attacker-controlled file content without authentication and stores it at a predictable URL without neutralizing active browser content. Execution requires a victim to visit the crafted file URL, exposing browser-accessible data and session actions to the attacker.
