CVE-2024-9281Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Article publication via unvalidated cross-origin administrative request

Published Sep 27, 2024 · Updated Sep 27, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in MiniCMS 1.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to publish articles through an administrator's browser. The post-edit.php handler accepts article fields from a cross-origin POST and writes the serialized article and index without validating an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the attacker's HTML and submit its form, resulting in unauthorized article publication.
