Authenticated code execution via unchecked web-root upload
Published Sep 27, 2024 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in HuankeMao SCRM 0.0.1 through 0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The Administrator Backend's upload_domain_verification_file function passes the supplied temporary path and original filename directly to move_uploaded_file, placing the file in the web root without checking its extension or type. An administrator session is required; a PHP payload saved under its attacker-chosen name can then be requested over HTTP to run code with the web server's privileges.
