Authenticated PHP inclusion via unsanitized protocol path
Published Sep 27, 2024 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Local file inclusion in 123Solar 1.8.4.0 through 1.8.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP code. In admin/admin_invt2.php, htmlspecialchars encodes HTML metacharacters but leaves directory traversal sequences intact before PROTOCOLx is concatenated into a PHP include path. Access to the administration endpoint is required, and code execution additionally requires a PHP file reachable through a known server-side path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
