Command injection in SQL Expressions in Grafana 11 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted queries. The SQL Expressions backend passes incompletely sanitized query text to the DuckDB CLI, permitting command execution and reads of host files. Viewer access or higher is required, and exploitation works only when the DuckDB binary is in the Grafana process PATH; standard distributions omit it.
