Code execution via unvalidated freed AcroForm object
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Use-after-free in AcroForm handling in Foxit PDF Reader 2024.2.3.25184 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted PDF. The reader performs operations on an AcroForm object without first confirming that the object still exists, allowing use of a freed object. Exploitation requires user interaction to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs in the reader process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
