Service hang via unbounded multipart boundary processing
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Quivr 0.0.298 allows remote attackers to hang the service through a malformed file-upload request. The upload path accepts a multipart boundary with attacker-appended characters and continuously processes every added character without a limit. No authentication or user interaction is required, and sustained processing makes the service unavailable to all users.
