Reflected XSS via unescaped generated URL
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in uPress Enable Accessibility 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted URL. Code in includes/accessibility-attachments-alt.php outputs a URL built with add_query_arg and remove_query_arg without appropriate escaping. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the attacker-supplied link; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
