Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped error message
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in yonifre Maspik before 2.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a saved plugin setting. The Blacklist Options page stores the error_message parameter without adequate sanitization and renders it without adequate escaping. Administrator privileges are required, and the script runs when a privileged user views the affected page, allowing actions within that user's session.
